I wish for the moment one comes into contact with my art to bring pure wonder, joy and beauty. For this I, as an instrument, process inputs into something positive, documenting the outcome.
Be it something dirty, such as scraps, that I incorporate in my art and give them a new, beautiful side–
Be it a stale sense of values, that I flexibly reshape–
Or be it emotion normally kept hidden inside, that I set free and let run wild, uncovering one's true colors. Meeting another gives birth to such change.
To me, continuing to bring about change is intricately connected to life itself. As such, the color linked to life, red – the color of the human body – features frequently in my work.
